Our Story
Hattie Rose Floral Design is nestled in the North Yorkshire countryside overlooking an ancient woodland full of natural foliage and inspiration. I work from my garden flower studio set in my lovely garden. The natural world is full of wonder and my aim is to consider the environment and in the main, use sustainably grown, seasonal British flowers (including from my garden) and floral mechanics that are kind to the environment using alternatives to such as foam and single use plastics. My mantra is to re-cycle and re-purpose.
I cater for those who wish to gift a gorgeous bouquet, may require farewell flowers, wish to style a special event or designs to create the wedding flowers of your dreams. Periodically I run workshops so please keep an eye in the Workshops section of the website. I will also highlight forthcoming workshops and events on Instagram.

The Owner
Hello, my name is Elaine, owner of Hattie Rose Floral Design. Flowers have always been my passion, and this goes back a long way, I have a vivid memory of giving a presentation in school assembly about flowers and I memorised every word. When the chance arises a wander around a stately home or park garden feeds my interest and inspiration. When I go for a countryside walk, I always take my snips in case I spot any inspirational floral ingredients, being mindful to protect rare wildflowers.
Fast forward to more recent times, after many years in the corporate world I found myself in the enviable position to fulfil my ambition to be a fulltime Florist. Over several years, I have engaged in floristry education training with the Tallulah Rose flower school based at the beautiful Levens Hall, Kendal Cumbria.
